Merry Christmas – December 25

Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th December. This day marks the birthday of Jesus. Christmas name has been derived from ‘Mass of Christ’. A mass service is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. Christ-Mass service is held after sunset, hence people had it at midnight. Hence this day is celebrated as Christmas.

However, there is no proof about the birthday of Jesus Christ. Bible also does not mention the date of Christ’s birth. So why do we celebrate Christmas on 25th December? It was first recorded in the books when the Roman Emperor celebrates it on 25th December in 336.

It is also believed that on the day when Mother Mary was told she would have a very special baby it was on March 25th. Nine months after 25th March is 25th December. Christmas is celebrated all around the world. 25th December is a public holiday in almost all the countries of the World.

In the story of Jesus Christ, three good people visited Jesus when he was a baby. They gave him presents. Later, Christians called these people the Three Kings. In January, Christians have a festival called Twelfth Night. It’s called Twelfth Night because it’s 12 nights after Christmas. At this time, Christians think about the Three Kings who visited Jesus with their presents. In some countries, people eat a big cake.

On the Twelfth Night, Spanish children put their shoes under the Christmas tree. In the morning, they find presents in their shoes.

Christmas is an important festival for Christian communities, although it is also celebrated by people of other religions all over the world. It is an ancient festival that has been celebrated in winter for years. It is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Jesus. Santa Claus has a great tradition of distributing gifts to everyone in the family a Merry Christmas midnight.

People buy gifts for their loved ones, have parties, enjoy dinner with their loved ones, and pray for the happiness of their loved ones.

Santa goes to everyone’s house at night and distributes gifts to them, especially the children who give them funny gifts. The children anxiously wait for Santa and this day. They ask their parents when Santa will arrive and finally: The waiting for the kids is over and Santa arrives at 12 noon with lots of gifts.

On this day, people celebrate till late at night by dancing to music or going to malls and restaurants. People of Christianity worship Lord Jesus. It is believed that the lord (offspring of God) was sent to the people on earth to save their lives and protect them from sins and sorrows.

To celebrate the good works of Jesus Christ, this Christmas celebration is celebrated by the people of the Christian community and we give a lot of love and respect. It is a public and religious holiday when almost all government and non-government institutions are closed.

At the last, Merry Christmas is a festival that infuses the minds and hearts of all with a sense of purity and through new energy inspires us that even in the face of many difficulties, we should not abandon and pave the way for holiness to others. We should cooperate as much as possible.
