New York Public & National Holidays (2020)

New York is the fourth-largest populous state in the United States of America. It is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south while to the south are Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont states of the United States, famous for its New York City and is also known as ‘The Empire State’.  This nickname signifies the state’s wealth and resources. It has been incorporated into the names of several state buildings and events in New York. The capital city is Albany while New York City is the most populated city in the state. It is one of the most well known of all American states. New York is also world-famous for The Brooklyn Bridge that connects Manhattan with New York’s most populous borough, Brooklyn. You can find popular attractions like the Statue of Liberty, UN Headquarters, Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial, Times Square, Wall Street, Fifth Avenue, and Madison Square in New York.

Father’s Day

Labor Day

Day after Thanksgiving
This holiday is celebrated after the fourth Thursday in November in the United States. Almost all employees in the US are also given a paid day off during this day.

Christmas Day
Christmas Day falls every December 25 of each year which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
